There are budgeting and reporting tools—simple ones—but sufficient for most purposes.Simple does mean simple. If you can manage a checkbook and transfer money between accounts, you should be able to make Buddi work. So if you trade, or have significant assets in the stock market, Buddi may not be for you. Buddi also won't manage your stock accounts. I didn't have any performance problems, but it's a risk you'll take. Buddi's written in Java (and requires Mac OS 10.4 and Java 1.5), so there may be performance issues (testing performance on large files to ferret out those performance issues is beyond the scope of a mini-review). While it may not be quite as fast as a well coded native C program, I find that there is very little speed issues with it.
